@Rei not biologically. They aren't related but they were very close during their childhood. The king just wants mc to recognise him as his brother like he used to when they were kids
The king killed the father of mc and the rest of the family as well, so that's why mc doesn't want to live in the palace. Sorry I keep saying mc, I forgot his name 😭
