@Shana FLs mother is alive and run away with almans father not run away actually but they love each other that's why alman can't tell lewellyn the truth also her mother doesn’t love her whenever lewellyn want to sleep with alman he feel guilty aboute it and during those 5 yrs he is also suffer his father lock his up( srry my English is not good but i really want to tell you)
