@Zade I believe the issue is that in Korean there's a word that works for she (Geu) exclusively, but the other one (Geunyeo) can be used for he, she or "that one", and the author probably is using the 2nd term, leading to a translation that needs nuance in order to be accurate. The TL probably is AI or taken more literally than it should otherwise be.
