I read this manhwa since chapter 1 and I dare to say every single character is toxic asf, well that's how they created them to be actually. This story is about societal expectations and realities.
Calling Maxi "weak" is absolutely ridiculous, imagine you were taught since you were little, you were severely mentally and physically abused by your surroundings, that you were only born to marry for politics and to be a baby machine in order to maintain your family's name.
I love how her character shows how f*cking difficult it is to get out of that environment after years inside of it. Her character has to learn the hard way that she is not what happened to her and that she is the only one to have power to save her from her own sufferings. Because when you still believe you are what happened to you and you constantly blame yourself for all of it, you will still choose that environnement.
