@ShadowX I'm pretty sure its a similar type of ability as sera's, which he can't copy. You can think of that one guy from MHA who copies abilities if you've seen it.

@ShadowX mental abilities are most likely too complex for John to copy, and would probably take up too much aura when he uses it. 

I know I thought of that but they should at least mention he can't do it, it takes one thought bubble or mention it while they are planning
