I think the reason I dislike the granny is because she is on the side of "Blois", a made up ideal she holds in her own head of what will prosper the "family". She has an allegiance to Noone but her fictional idea of what makes up blois. She doesnt consider the people of blois blood to be of any importance unless they affect the prosperity of this main house. She has no morals outside if that. Its an interesting character but I cant find myself liking her, although I suppose thats not the point if her character.
