A mother who baits her son emotionally isn't deserving to be called a mother! Right from the beginning she is the reason he was and still remain in this mess.. she's all about luxury and how she feels lonely, has she called him aside to speak and ask about how he's doing? Even when he was so keen on not wanting to be involved? Face it she's the type who wants it all! Her son, and the luxury that comes with Greg cause I can't call that love with the last outburst she had about leaving. 

 I hope this proves my point, if not kindly state yours and I'll do my best to give a better power point!
