She had kept her abilities secret all along, even from the wizard search teams. Noah confidently tells Alstair that he can’t win because their power levels are simply too different. Still, Alstair refuses to give up and launches a final desperate attack, aiming straight for Noah’s heart. But once again, the protective magic from Noah’s mother activates, stopping the blade completely. The sword shatters, and Alstair ends up severely injured by his own attack.
