Mina’s body was actually risette’s (Leb's mother) body. When Leblaine sent Mina back to her world, they found risette’s body on the spot where Mina last stood before she was sent back. This was planned by the pope because he wanted to kidnap leblaine after the fight between her and Mina because the pope is in love with leblaine or more like the ancient leblaine. Apparently, the pope was also reincarnated and had the memory of his life in ancient times. He was cured Meria (leblaine’s pseudonym when she was curing villages) and ever since, he had fallen in love with her.
If Mina won this fight, he could capture leblaine after and if leblaine won, he knew she’d be exhausted and he could jump right through the scene and sna*** her away. It was a win-win situation for him. After the fight, the latter scenario happened, leblaine won and successfully defeated and sent Mina back. Pope knew that if Mina’s soul returns to her world, risette’s body will be left behind. The dubblede brothers were shocked by the sight of their mother’s body and couldn’t react right away to take back leblaine from pope and so pope was able to kidnap blaine.
