@Volkien Blame the author, the author made them incompetent even if they should not. If they cannot ferret out POTENTIAL then they are useless. Imagine how many they have let go based on win/loss pass/fail system. Some will do well against xyz foe, so matchup can be crucial but many authors knows zero about combat or attributes and it shows in their writing.
