Spoiler!
Before escaping, Arel turns back to face the illusion one last time. She picks up her violin and decides to play. As she performs, the music brings back memories of her past and her mother. She realizes that her life had always been controlled by others, especially her mother, and that she was never truly living for herself. This time, she plays only for herself, and for the first time, she feels free, happy, and truly alive. The illusion tries to break her again by showing her mother and reminding her of her pain. However, Arel stands strong. She admits that her mother hurt her, but she also forgives her because she still loves her. By doing this, she lets go of her past pain and decides to live her own life and be happy.

At the same time, Valar is trapped in his own nightmare, reliving painful memories of his sister. He feels guilty and broken, even though he knows it’s an illusion. Just as he is about to give in, he hears a beautiful melody that is Arel’s violin. The music calms him, clears his mind, and helps him return to reality. It reminds him of hope, and he decides to move forward and protect his daughter. In the end, Arel’s music breaks the illusion completely. Pession watches her, deeply moved by both her strength and her sadness, wanting to understand everything about her. Meanwhile, Arel focuses on overcoming her past and stepping into a new, freer life. Skipping a bit of the story.
I like to post spoilers for the stories I find interesting because I don't have much time to read novel due to busy schedule you will find me in most romantic historical manhwa comment sections

@Introvert Then
Spoiler!
Later on Arel and Pession use a magical communication device to talk to each other face-to-face. It’s their first time using it, and Arel feels a bit nervous but also happy to see him. Pession checks on her like usual asking if she ate, exercised, and took her supplements, it's almost like he’s watching over her. Even though she complains, she doesn’t actually mind his concern. They talk about their day, and it becomes clear that Pession is very busy as the Crown Prince. Before ending the call, he admits he misses her, and after the connection ends, Arel quietly admits she misses him too. At a grand international event in the Imperial Palace, many important people gather, including Valar. He seems troubled and is using too much power, which is harming him. He is investigating something mysterious related to Arel, who is described as a “singularity,” meaning there is something very unusual about her existence. At the same time, Arel encounters her stalker (I think it's Cheyenne because that's what she calls him) who has been secretly watching her. He admits he was the one influencing her before and seems very interested in her, calling her “interesting” and even “cute,” but in a way that makes her uncomfortable. Arel feels like she’s dealing with someone dangerous, like a predator.

Meanwhile, Valar has tense interactions with both Pession and Empress Ageni. He realizes that Pession, despite having everything, is deeply interested in Arel, which confuses him. There are also hints of a painful past involving Valar, Ageni, and Sione. Both Valar and Ageni seem to hate each other, but they connect through shared loss. They have a painful past connected to Sione, and both still hold anger and regret.
So
Spoiler!
The Empress asks if Arel is really Valar’s daughter and whether Sione is still alive, but Valar avoids giving a clear answer. Arel also has a strange encounter with a mysterious man who acts like a stalker. He admits that he was the one who secretly contacted her before. He is dangerous but also strangely interested in her. He says she cannot escape being involved with him. Arel feels nervous and uncomfortable around him, like he is a predator, but she cannot get rid of him.

Later, Arel notices that Valar, has been avoiding her. With Mehen’s help, she enters a special portrait room in the Halbern mansion. The room is filled with paintings of the Halbern family. While exploring, she finds a portrait of a woman named Sione Sigrida Halbern (her mother) Arel suddenly realizes that this woman is her mother. This shocks her, especially because the portrait suggests that her mother is directly connected to the Halbern family. Arel is confused and overwhelmed, realizing there may be a hidden secret about her birth.

Arel’s life in Halbern Manor, has become chaotic. Recently, she is forced to drink a strange “elixir” sent by the Crown Prince. The drink changes color every day and tastes terrible, making her suspect it might be poison. Even though others believe it’s healthy and praise its effects, Arel thinks her improvement is actually from exercising, not the potion. Still, she has no choice but to drink it under everyone’s watch. Arel’s relationship with her father is complicated and often frustrating. He teases her, makes her play exhausting games, and doesn’t seem to take things seriously, which annoys her.
And
Spoiler!
Despite this, he clearly cares about her and tries to spend time with her, even if his way of showing affection is clumsy. Arel often says she doesn’t want to be close to him, but she still gets affected by his actions and emotions. One day, her father surprises her with a room full of musical instruments. Arel is shocked but excited, especially because she loves music. She chooses to play the violin and performs a beautiful piece. Even though her body is weak and struggles to keep up, her performance is amazing and moves everyone who hears it. Many people gather just to listen, praising her talent and calling her a genius.

After playing, Arel feels physically exhausted but emotionally fulfilled. She realizes she wants to live longer and enjoy her life more, even though she believes her time might be limited. Her father reassures her in his own way, encouraging her to smile and not give up hope. Though he jokes a lot, he deeply cares for her and is proud of her talent. Meanwhile, outside Halbern Manor, major events are happening. A magical Sky Tower appears after 154 years, shocking the people. At the Imperial Palace, Emperor is stressed with political matters, including the tower’s return and issues involving powerful figures like Arel’s family. Elsewhere, Duke Idicels, who has been stuck far from home for years, longs to return.
@Introvert btw what happened to the girl and her mother yk the one's who made fl end up in the illusion
@Ur Mommy The Duke Idicels is the one who was absent during the Dukes meeting held by Emperor when Valar came first. He is still stuck in other Empire where Arel's mother was married to. And later on the story will shift to Sione's (Arel's mom) husband (Duke Locke) where he is meeting with Duke Idicels who tells him to let him leave or something 🤔
@Ur Mommy No I still don't know what happened to them because it wasn't mentioned in the chapters I have been reading, so maybe it will happen in future chapters 🤔
