the reason he felt off when she told him that she had the same experience is bc he feels like his traumatic experience was downgraded as "getting molested" and not "raped", and its not her fault that she doesn't think it's something worse than getting molested (i am not comparing but idk how to explain without doing so, im very sorry). he doesnt feel acknowledged when she also shared her experience when it was supposed to be his time to be vulnerable...ykwim?? and he also didn't specify that he was raped, he only said that he was sexually assaulted
