@Galactic Navy Officer When I mentioned the situation to my adult kid, they came up with a pretty wild theory. But just plausible enough:

The theory is the tiktokker runs their own scanlation site and is trying to get rid of competition.

Wild, but considering how a lot of tiktokkers are, within the realm of possibility.
