@strawberry_boys I 100% agree lol idk why everyone is hating but can't say ur wrong tho hahah! And I also love the female lead, but the author sucks for not knowing how to incorporate something huge like that. It just makes people think her character is completely dumb and doesn't know basic things smh! Also, it annoys me how she can't listen to simple words like I get she wants to feel helpful, but he's telling you no, so you don't get hurt! No man wants to see their wife on a battlefield and possibly die right in front of them if the worst happens, but I feel like she doesn't care enough about how he feels on the matter and does what she wants.

@thatsss_dadaa seee !! You get where I'm coming from!! There was no warning she was pregnant, but suddenly, poof, her baby died- like what ?? I feel like the author completely rushed the pregnancy storyline and went straight to a baby's death, smh, that's why I'm so annoyed, but the people who disagreed clearly never read a good story before, and it shows because how are you not aggravated! we keept hearing them talk about kids in a few chapters and we all wanted that for them and when we finaly got it, no word or nothing was hinting at the fact she was pregnat because the author blamed everything on magic saying "oh my head hurts but it's just beacuse my magic" or "i feel like i have to throw up but it's because i used a lot of my magic" that's annoying.

@strawberry_boys Are you being dumb on purpose? You actually think that there were books, scrolls, and manuscripts on motherhood and female anatomy? During that time? Even in our world, female anatomy only started to be properly understood by the end of the 20th century; until then, myths and rumours like showering interrupts menstruation were still a thing.
Women learned about motherhood and childbearing from their own mothers, a knowledge passed down by word of mouth as many noble women didn't learn how to read and write because their only purpose was to bear children and secure heirs. Maxi lost her mother at an early age, and every other older woman taught her garbage like being still like a corpse during intercourse and be silent. She had no one to lean on, no one to open up to, so how would she know?

As for the signs, there were there. How often did she feel nauseous during the campaign, but chucked it off as being tired? She wouldn't be able to read her body, because no one taught her how and no one would think she was. So, yes, people are rightously upset with your comment on shooting down her efforts of wanting to become helpful to her new home while prancing your own ignorance.

@AshiuRey from how much they did it, you wanna say no one would know or even think? And she talked about wanting kids with him, so how was that not even a passing thought?? Also, what signs did you notice because not a da** thing was said! Just magic was the cause of everything, not even a hint at it. let them stay mad lol my whole point is! If she had never gone to that battlefield and instead stayed as her husband said, then maybe she would have noticed something because she wouldn't have been using magic smh, but she's hardheaded. btw medical knowledge did exist, so wtf are u talking about? She just kept wanting to be in everyone's face and wanting to be useful, and no matter how many times Riftan told her and reassured her, she never listened and kept rushing off into dangerous areas

@strawberry_boys Medical Knowledge did not exist, especially on female anatomy. And all she wanted was to help, she wanted to show Riftan that she was not a child as he would always coddle and baby her, never acknowledging any of her efforts. Plus, she was worried, she never wanted to go to the battlefield, she just wanted to make sure everyone was ok and then head back, but circumstances changed that and her staying ultimately saved everyone.

They've been trying for over a year and nothing, of course she wouldn't realize it as she wouldn't be able to read the signs for the reasons I mentioned.
But hey, if you want so desperately to be right, sure, have it, I don't argue with pidgeons.

@AshiuRey medical knowledge in general existed- who do you think delivered babies and took care of the sick???? The bugs around them like- and wtf does she need to go to a battlefield for.. is this not clocking to you because you want to defend her behaviour so bad? It's a battlefield!!!!!!!!! ofc people are gonna get hurt! She went because she doesn't listen to simple orders at all! She sees how people worry about her, and she brushes it off, which I think is annoying. Also, what skills or whatever the fu did she want to prove to him??? Mind you, the moment she arrived,d she started doing crazy shhhh ever since those people came in trying to take over, and she was left to look after the palace. That's when she kept trying to learn magic, thinking it was her job to battle and protect everyone, like she was some general, and she's not! Riftan never babyed her btw he just wanted her to have the things he thought she was used to and he only thought that because SHEEEEE never told him what was going on with her and why her dad was beating her ah so really this is on her because she never spoke up after living with him for months and seeing how he cared and loved her so why are u trying so hard to defend this behavour ?
