Wait, I just thought of this.... Why don't Hajin ask the book of truth if there are any cure to the demon's seed that is in Chae Nayun's brother's body? So if there is a cure won't he have no reason to kill the brother, and Chae Nayun won't feel betrayed?

There is no cure for the Devil's Seed status. So it's either turn into a devil or die.

As far as my memory goes... which is about 50% to 70% accurate at the little details...
He can ask anything about Chundong's (OG body owner) family but the amount of stigma magic required is too much.

Even that "past veiwing detective uncle" had a hard time seeing that part of Chundong's information.

And it'll be insanely expensive and/or require hard to obtain ingredients.

@URMyChild there is no cure for that, the only thing MC doesn't knows are the literal background or minor characters that he didn't put effort or the things that the co-author will be changing, besides those things, he knows it all and if he the Author didn't think about it, that means there's no cure for that

@Yue Shaolan as for the parents, probably because as MC said, this guy that he possessed is a random character, and he said that he hates how he gets all dizzy and uncomfortable whenever he uses the book of truth, since the guy he possessed isn't even part of the major characters, he probably thought that it's not worth the side-effects nor any need to rush to find out and decided to use a method that wouldn't inconvenience him and used money for comfort of the procedure
