Okay so this is my conclusion. Maybe he saw her when she took the puppy to her childhood friend's vet then he hear them arguing and conclude that they have relationship and got jealouse then that's when he started having affair with his secretary

@Hamahdhanshdjsnshd yes, it's mostly like that. as FL said they're relationship was good before, until then ML cheating on her like all of sudden. ML is really in love with FL & it's just no way ML will do that without reason. I think ML accidentally saw it & misunderstanding the situation like FL is the one who cheating on him
