I think Sakura's gonna say that he doesn't want to be at the top anymore. (Speculation) Since he's grown with his friends and learning to rely on others, he's seeing that he doesn't have to be the top person for people to respect him. Or that he doesn't want to kick Umeya out somehow. Like he's comfortable with not being at the top or he doesn't want stuff to change with everyone around him when he does become the top. Which the only way that'd happen is if Umeya decides to retire and selects Sakura. Other wise it'd be a fight between the first years ( they've already said that they'll help Sakura with his dream) against everyone else that is automatically on Umeya's side.

@Nitx_404 Maybe what you say is right but I think for the plot would be much better when Sakura starts a competition so that everything will spice up a little bit?? Idk maybe I couldn't explain well😭
