We've seen it so many times—orthodox sects hurting normal people just to increase their power, or some young master beating up innocent civilians. It’s not just this manhwa, it’s common in the genre. Both sides—orthodox and unorthodox—have good and bad people. They’re called unorthodox just because they use different martial arts, which are often considered inhumane. So yeah, it doesn’t really matter who’s supposed to be the good or bad guy in this manhwa."
