They basically replaced the characters with brand new personality, so if they return to the original, that would be awful too.

Some stories are just bad. This is one of them.

(Plus, let's be honest - the original was dragged waaay to long after the end too, so...)

@Nickname I get that you wanted it to be a literal version of the original. But I need to remind you that normally, this kind of stories are always revised by the author, so the author must have accepted this kind of changes.
You're making it sound like it's not an enjoyable story anymore lol, when it's actually really good. All of it. 

Then, again, the only reason why you're saying this is because you wanted an exact copy of the novel (and I totally get it) but you gotta understand that that's is not what everyone wants and the adaption is an adaption for some reason.

And no, I didn't want an exact copy (How could I, never even read itXD). I wanted a story with the original characters from the original manhwa. Ash and Lyle. Not some rancom characters drawn to looks like them.

If you can't see their whole personality replaced, it's not my fault, but don't put me on a tight spot like i don't know what's a side story is, comeooon... :D

@Nickname I see your point, and i understand what you mean by personality change. But i also see it differently: when people like Ash and Lyle get into serious relationship, they open up to each other and show their other sides as well. From personal experience, I can say that I'm not very good at expressing emotions, but i get very lovely-dovley with my partner (and that's something i would never imagine). So i don't blame the author for making them change their characteristics. But you're also right. That change should have been slightly different. They made Lyle look too innocent and immature...

Open ups won't change standarsd and basic characteristic, plus, we have already seen the changes. The whole story was about their changes for g** sake...:D

Someone sooo fuk*** stoic like Lyle would never turn into an emotionally-6-yo naiva, and a forever-romantic-macho Ash would never humilitate his lover in a s**-shop, and definitely never, never-ever start a BDSM play without any explanation...

This is definitely _not_ an opening up..:D

Honestly, all of the side stories of manhwas are like this. Specially the ones that are more serious-like topics. 
Normally, what people want when they see a story surrounding difficulties like Karlyle whole marriage and insecurities problems and Ash too, is a little more of spice and rom-com.

What I'm trying to say is that it is normal for this kind of stories to take a turn when it comes to this kind of side parts. They add the normal drama, but the main topic is to make them more love dovey with each other, or exploring s** parts or just in general having a more open-like personality. That's the whole point of the side stories (at least the majority of them) that's why I'm really surprised that yo seem upset. Maybe you haven't seen enough of them? But a lot are like this. 

This doesn't mean that they are ooc, it's just that we are seeing a whole different momentum in the state of their relationship, so of is not going to be the same. And btw, don't say Ash humiliated Lyle in the fuc**** s** shop??? Try to see the differences between being embarrassed and being humiliated.
