I think He-seo is traumatized about what happened (stabbing). I believe he had a psychotic reaction when MC kicked him out of his life. He never had it easy and He-seo losing MC was a breaking point, that made a turn for the worse. Now for sure he regrets everything he did, but he knows is impossible to befriend MC back, so being mentally unstable like he is keeping MC only to himself was the solution (kidnapping). And the author told us that He-seo never had no one all the 7 years so clearly he is obsessive about MC and he believes that is the only way to have him. And I believe MC mother is behind the dead guy case and she is trying to blame MC cause he knows her true colors. At the end He-seo won't hurt MC never again he just wants to be loved. This is what I think

@Flor I also think that Hesseo would not tried to kill Tae again, he's traumatized abt the attack, it was in the heat of the moment, also ppl forgot that Hesseo cut his wrists after stabbed Tae, so he was willing to die right there with him, it's obvious that he didn't mean to kill, he's not a murderer at least, just a kidnapper and rapist lol
