It's obvi the writer is telling us the story of how they grew up as childhood friends.
1... Nothing sexual is happening in this episode.
2... You already knew they were adults at the story's beginning.
3... They haven't kissed or had any sexual contact when they're adults, how can that be pedo?
The fact that you saw a 20-year-old man congratulating and then fighting alongside a 16-year-old girl with no sexual content whatsoever, and still your mind immediately went to Smút and pedos, talks about your own projections.
Please seek help or talk to a professional before doing something stupid. The way you sexualize teens when nothing is happening is extremely dangerous and not normal.

I'm high-key horrified how anyone can read this and feel sexual tension between them. We are supposed to feel how they cherish each other and the building of their love since they're children to bulld why it makes sense they marry later. But s**? Smùt? 🤢🤮
I concur with @PEARLS, if you see minors in a sexualized or arousing smùt way, look for pros who can help with your feelings and how you see them.
