I know I'm nitpicking but I feel like MC could start to feel pressured to get into a relationship with ML given he feels that ML will be his only backing in a new environment
I escape from reality but I'm able to live through multiple lives.

@Emili Lion i think that is not the case because you also seen that this country and the don't reconnize mc because he is a commoner even intimidate him .He have any very good memory until now and its the ml who was supporting him and believes him and his capacities. He leave the decision to him and ask his consent .i agree that he act a bit fast but i think that he will not do anything without his accord

ML is a total green flag for sure but MC can still feel like he's not doing enough for ML to deserve his love. Kinda reminds me of 'The yandere top father is being teased'.
Also I remember him mentioning the other country is ok with same s** relationships but ML is a noble and they might need a direct heir. Preferably with someone from a good nobility background too..
