yeah literally no one called or treated her like an angel. Sure people like her more than ML but the whole discussion 'yall' had was about how his actions towards her are not justified even if she was sheltered/spoiled. If you think being upset over a character having been abused equals seeing them as angelic that's on you. People literally talked about how they want to see, and I quote one comment from memory, "the real anette, not the perfect anette he imagined but the real and flawed anette...etc". You're pulling the whole "angelic" and "saint" from your a$$hole.

I also don't quite agree with the "she wasn't a passerby" comment considering the fact that a woman in that time of age, since you want to be so historically accurate, wasn't used for much more than marriage. The fact that her father "sheltered" her by embellishing the reality of how bad their family treated people shows how she was being kept away from politics but whatever, think what you want. You do you, keep babbling about how special you are and how you're the only one who truly understands the story like none of us morons do lmao.

@and then they fuc*** her being a woman is irrelevant considering there's no apparent sexism woven into the world building, seeing as the revolution had female figures and that Anette herself was a renowned pianist, so chances are this particular culture is egalitarian. idk where you got that I wanted historical accuracy. because I insist fiction are meant to reflect real life issues? because I brought up that real life dictatorships never benefitted the dictator exclusively?

you shouldn't have neglected your English classes, see, you missed the lesson on figures of speech! you missed the fact that my "y'all bark abt Anette's angelicness" was a hyperbole! that didn't mean she descendend from heavens, if that wasn't so obvious. it means she wasn't blameless. she wasn't innocent. she was at fault, too. and to turn around to claim the extent of her character was being a victim (she is, but thats not all) is a blatant mischaracterazation. a central theme of this manhwa is whether ignorance is a sin. and if you have no disputes abt my "Anette is not JUST a victim" and I have no dispute abt "the ML is an abuser" then why the fu** are you talking to me?
