in fact he really wanted to live a normal but the village he came from probably the village that haven't touch since it's hidden somewhere behind mountains.🤔 So probably the village still didn't forget the lost magic, infact lex even mentioned "hellfire" is just used for "weeding".😅
@men might be like Kunlun, in mythology there was a secret village hidden in the mountains full of powerful fighters living as villagers
@Aiden Furry Do u mean 'Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies Moved to a Starter Town' - main character = loyde
It's a wonderful manga/anime where the main character is absolutely clueless to his abilities, even when a demon leech or mega powerful monster has taken over the body of the king of the country and threatens to start a war he thinks the king just has some crude on his face and uses lost/ancient magic to wipe his face and expell the evil.
Like what is it with main characters and being clueless about common knowledge?!

@Daddy Some of them have no idea what the common knowledge is. Such knowledge has to be taught explicitly or implicitly.
It's when they get a direct statement of "that's NOT NORMAL!", like Lili did here, and ignore or blow it off that it gets REALLY annoying.
(There's also a couple works where the MC was told repeatedly by their parents/others that they were weak and their abilities were not up to standard. The problem being the standard in question was insane to begin with. Those poor kids have been essentially brainwashed into not realizing their own power.)
