I get where he's coming from. Mostly he has serious attachment and abandonment issues. At the top of that, he's gay. He wanted a nice family, what the call "normal" but just now he realized that he is sexually attracted to men as well. From MCs side, it's clearly a sense the ML gives of like Minseok, someone who wants a happy married life with a woman. They can leave MC in a heartbeat if they want to. It's normal for MC actually react like that, specially when ML agreed for a blind date without giving a second thought to it.
As for me, I just want the MC to be happy.
