hmm, in that aspect i liked the original better, where the player seemed to be a humble goofball, and the guard was the a** who initiated the player deleting duel.
also whats up with the 50 gold? in the original he used it to buy the items, but here it seems he farmed them, so why the need of 50 gold?
last but not least the ring kinda sucks, in the original it was a ring made out of twine, and fused together by moss, made the theme of containing the power of a giant spirit a bit more beliveable.
now im kinda excited how the story will deviate from the original, or if they just change minor details, because the change in the MC is really hard visible.
