@mindyyy Because it wasn't "technically" ra**. He eludes to that in the end. The Alpha went into rut which means he lost all ability to reason to begin with. The "Beta" is very likely manifesting into an Omega and acted on instinct alone as well, which is why he says he can't play the victim. It's all a very gray area.
