What I find frustrating about Rahim’s character is that we don’t explore enough of what’s good in her. She could be a nuanced character, and a really interesting one, because the bad decisions she makes are driven by deep trauma and unresolved wounds. But the problem is that there’s nothing to counterbalance that, so she ends up coming across as unlikeable
