@Are_u_being_fr for me it's because this is supposed to be an adaptation of the novel so excluding the s*t cuts out a lot of the funny conversations and plot relevant characterizations. For example, much of it is used to help show how inhumane Karas is just from his thought process alone. He isn't incapable of love or anything, but he views the world so starkly different due to being a dragon in human form that you begin to understand why the dragon kings of old needed Regases and the Council to rule. The novel's s*t further highlights this and his almost naive cluelessness about how to interact with others (mainly Abel of course) that goes far beyond the lack of socialization due to being a victim of child abuse.
