@Daniel K i bet he's gonna say he's just joking in the end. There's no way Tang grandpa will believe him anyway. But if he really intended too say it it wasn't bad ig he knew Tang grandpa back then and has nothing to do with his loved ones death tho still a bad move to just blurt it out bc he doesn't want to marry one of the Tang waifus.
