@Ronin when you said the story wouldnt be greatly different is what im saying is wrong as she and her thousands of lives could have tons of information and well she is his sister and her dying again would have a much more darker emotional impact on geon than the first time is what i mean and the tone of this series isnt exactly to show geon dark all the time i hope you got what i meant

@Vergil Oh I see. The reason her survival doesn't change much for the story is because all the information she has from her regression is that we have another direct source for that information to come from, she has no real story importance right now beyond being Geons motivation. And I get that her death could be perceived as darker than intended, but I would remind you that the series started out pretty dark in the first place with Geon being legitimately driven insane by his torturous existence in the tower. This would've been a fresh moment to ground the story and connect with it's roots, particularly in a story that struggles to convey real consequences for anyone tangentially related to Geon. It's not like I didn't see him saving her, and it's not like I'm broken up she didn't die.
