@yukiiilain nah the artist probably felt it's pointless to be properly 'define' him. I mean, if he were to exist as a blemish of the past, why bother. Thus adding extra foreshadowing to the nameless presence
Edit: Scratch that. Maybe it's to depict the emotional turmoil that swarms & blackens theirs entire being
