OKAY OKAY ! So , from what I can gather, the ml and the mc were lovers, and they wanted to become immortal together ; but something bad happened, and it killed them both ; out of the two, only the ml got immortality, but he had to die I guess and as he died before mc was killed, he misunderstood the situation ; he thought mc betrayed him or something.
He doesn't know mc didn't betray him at all, that he's not the one that caused his death, and he doesn't know he was killed either. Being immortal must've been he**, and ml is trying to end that; that odd snake probably said that the only way to end it is kill his past lover. As he's blinded by hate, pain, and rage, he has burning desire for revenge (because, again, he thinks mc killed/betrayed/whatever him) and just wants to make mc pay.
Now, how will he do that ? By showing him love, tenderness, being kind and trustworthy....And then, once mc has opened up to him, trusts and loves him entirely, he'll break his heart in the most horrible way before probably killing him.
Well, that's ml's plan I think.
I hope this has a happy ending though and that they'll solve everything and love eachother forever !! AND THAT MISUNDERSTANDING IS KILLING ME HOPE MC WON'T BE HURT (he most likely will be 😢)
PS : Also, I suspect mc's hyung to be from the past as well and have been the one that killed them
