Uhhhh honestly I think the way she is acting right now do make sense more than anything... If you read a novel you can understand, the world usually are written or created, around or because of the main character, all the side characters are usually nothing more than a stepping stones... So if anyone with logic were to thrown into a novel that they read(hypothetically) ... How she acting does make sense... It is scary to fall in love and believe someone that no matter how much you try might fall in love with another because that's how it was written or fated to be with...So yeah, there's plenty of manhwa that shows this type of situation and when the fl actually belive and love the ml also, end up only to be betray when og fl appear.

I think The Tragedy of a Villainess fit this description, tho you prolly know this already, but it was the 2nd ml that mc tried to be with bcs in the og story, og ml and og fl lived together happily in the end while the now fl (villainess then) and 2nd ml both died bcs they loved the og ml and og fl, so in the second life (?) Mc got engaged to 2nd ml but he ended up marrying the btch og fl, mc would've died if not for the og ml marrying her indtead.
@Ryip and @Diana Dee Yes, but this isn't a tragedy genre thou. If this was a tragedy sure but since it isn't is there one that is NOT tagged as tragedy? For this case she already proved she can change everything. So what is the point in believeing in her nonsense?
