i think yeon-oh is struggling with abandonment issues, what he did to jaehyuk was very wrong yes, but we can't ignore yeon-oh's mental state rn. He's never been truly happy and maybe he's wanting to hold onto the source of that happiness, again it doesn't excuse what he's done, but his mental health and past issues need to be kept in mind.

I agree and I think the anxiety is very apparent in Yeonoh's general behavior. He repeatedly apologizes to appease the other party. Even during s**, he can't seem to allow himself to relax and enjoy completely. Reason why he keeps resisting. He doesn't allow himself to be happy cause he knows he'll be abandoned eventually.
