@exhausted ahhhhh I imagine he's concerned about his ability to protect her and is trying to push her away. Evidence being that he was going to try fighting off the assassins but passed out and was asking why she was still there. He's not the best dad but there are definitely worst. The crystal probably broke cause he was mad
