Omg... Today our professors announced the results of our exams, and istg I am not kidding, only 2 people passed in his class. Like, whatdeefvxk?! 2 out of 80 students ONLY PASSED, like do you guyz believe that???
We’re here rn at our department office for rechecking our test results 'cause I don't really believe these results. We think some errors happened, like the machine was broken, 'cause that’s the only thing that explains this mess.
And ps. The two students who passed were barely hanging on the passing score, which is 70%... they got 70% and 71%! Like, even they don’t believe this absurdity. We just wanna know and see our test sheets, like hayyss!
@Aren't they cool? Not surprising. None of actual sudents would qualify let alone pass exams from twenty or thirty years ago.
Many factors are implicated : social networks addiction, pawrn addiction, rising amount of CO2, rising amount of microplastics and endocrine disruptors, etc.
The peak of humanity intelligence, whether young or old, is clearly behind us. AIs and robots are expexted to make up for humans growing lacks and slopiness, yet I can't help regret we didn't prevent this decline.

For instance... According to Science, nowadays outdoor CO2 concentration equals what was the indoor concentration thirty years ago, with obvious nowadays indoor concentration even higher. Said CO2 impacts/"impairs" cognitive functions, meaning the more CO2 in air, the dumber humanity becomes.
Or you can also look for medical studies explaining how addictions impair cognitive functions as well.
