He spent mere 20-30 years on earth compared to his new world where he literally lived for over 300 years, and MC himself already admit it, it's a miracle that he 'somehow' still managed to remember his old life, I don't get why you think he should be retaining his old behaviour when it's literally been 300 years, it's like you're asking people to retain their behaviour as a 6-8 year old child when you're already at the age of 20-30 which is definitely impossible, or on which case, most people go with the line, "Uh, I don't do that anymore, I was like 7 at that time, people change" and that length can't even be compared to 300+ years
