So basically she was crushed by the weight of expectations he unknowingly set upon her.

Neither is at fault really because he genuinely believes in her strength and potential while she is also valid in feeling of letting him, the only one who believed in her amongst their mage peers, down.

They just needed to talk this one out and it'll be okay. I wonder what the staff/rod she was shopping was for since stronger magic won't help with mobs with high magic resistances. Would be really cool if it was supposed to be a gift for our errand boy.

@Nameless422 It's Like When Maiden Don't Want To Show Their Pathetic Side To Their Love One. . & Our Errand Boy Is Better Mage From Her, He Can Cast Support Magic Without Staff(Good Translator Using Road Than "ROD") BareHanded Casting. . That's Why She Feel That She Can't Walk Side To Side With Boy & The Fact That She Is "Attacker" Feel Like She Not Perfect Even With The Boy (Perfect)Support Magic. . She Build A Inferiority Complex Inside Her & That Crush Her From Inside. . 
The Writer Want To Show That If She Need To Believe & Hold Hand With The Boy, Both Of Them Can Challenge Anything Obstacle They Stumble. . The Fact That Golem(Hidden Boss) With Higher Ressistance Than That Mage Turtle Show That Only Together They Can Past The Trouble. .
