@sakaemo I mean "dominant" is nothing to do with roles in s**, not even in bdsm. Yeah there are doms and subs oc, but there are this tendency that the big, powerful people (ceo, docs, etc) often want to be subs, exactly because they are dominant basically every situation, and it's tiring, scary and they just want some... time when they don't have to make any decision, don't have to lead, order, or take responibility.
That's why they choose to be a sub. not because they actually want to be one.
So it's not about s** or their preferences in roles, it's about totally giving up the right to decide anything and just obey.
Also, "receptive" personality often gain confidence from dom roles/topping, exactly because they're usually so caring and sensitive to their partners needs that it's just a given that they're just doeverything their partner wants to, regardless of their own desires. Enjoy that they actually can give something. Like, you know, they just accept that their partner needs to be lead/dominated, so they do it,
Power bottoms x little muffin-tops is the extreme form of this. Dominant in relationship/life but bottom in bed, and an obedient puppy, but a top in bed.
plus, "MORE dominant" suggest neither of them is really a dominant one. And Im afraid the author use these word instead of "top" and "bottom" on purpose...
Anyway, cirrus and his desperate will to be loved, his happy, sociable mask and hidden fear and pain makes him the PERFECT bottom, while skylar HAS the tendency to "explode" if things are too much for him - agression, take the lead and do something, save your company when it's necessary - these are usually the top's attributes.
But still.. Cirrus is fine in both roles (I prefer bottom tho), but it would still feels weird if skylar is really a top, I mean...
We have 2 bottoms here, so it's weird anyway, if it's not a switch :D
