@Idk irl it's usually in secret and when found out the abuser goes to jail if that helps. you shouldn't get your world view from yaoi of all things.
@BJALEXNUMBA1FAN what are you talking about? Mothers letting their husbands/boyfriends abuse their children IS real life. Some mothers do get jealous and blame the children. And many abusers don't go to jail and are unpunished.
