Tbh, the crowned prince does not need out FL. The crowned prince currently wants her because her abilities make him stronger. However, the black haired dude wants her because her abilities help him be free of his curse and that's a valid reason. The crowned prince's reason is also valid but it isn't as valid as the black haired dude. Both are using her in different ways though
