@DarkaileChild Agree 100%... Right now, Jaekyung is Dan's only source of income which puts him in a powerless position, UNLESSS...he does something like what he did to purchase this gift, and works "secretly" on a side hustle. I think Jaekyung's reaction is very in character, but also telling - He wants to ensure Doc Dan's complete attention and efforts are on him, but I think there's another angle as well. Jaekyung now sees that Dan is capable of being stealthy and hiding things from him, so who's to say that Dan couldn't do this again in the future (even more skilled, not showing outward signs) to secretly start saving money, and get the he** away from him faster if he wanted? I think that's what Jaekyung is truly angry about, and him saying he'll get someone else to do Dan's job is a scare tactic to keep him put. I can't recall if Dan's paid off most, or all of his debt, but the big thing holding him there is his Grandmother. I find it crazy that Jaekyung isn't AT LEAST giving Dan his original salary so he can pay for his own things, and taking the additional 10 grand as debt payments, but he's taking every penny. He knows he wants Dan to stay right where he is...
