They can't be related cause Ha Ideun still has his parents and Mr. Gu's only possible family member is his brother, his parents died in an accident, plus his brother looks exactly like him, if they were possibly cousins, Ha Ideun would've attended Mr. Gu's family's funerals, but he didn't, so they aren't related<3.
