What I see coming is the princess pushing the MC to make him realize his true potential, gaining confidence, gaining a few IQ points (dumb protagonists kill me) and maybe as thanks she will wish to ask for his protection in a more... long lasting relationship that will lead her to become the empress with all power and him with only muscles ! ... Yeah I know, I derailled at the end. Way to easy to see him just being manipulated
@Ellundril "No bro, she’s doing all this because she has an appraisal ability—she can see his skills. So basically, she’s after his power. Yeah, in a way, she’s trying to exploit him—but in a good way. You could also argue she’s trying to strengthen her own forces by bringing him to her side."
