@Ktkt not really, I've heard in the novel it really isn't and most people say so. I'm reading this because I never seen a male lead before in these type of fantasy stories

It isn't BL but it doesn't have romance either, and it's sus enough that you feel like it's missing the bl tag somewhere xD. Sort of like "S-classes that I Raised" if you have read it.
