@Yeti I think soulmates transcends gender. And honestly it can be more than one.

They don't have to be a lover. They're just someone who I can feel comfortable with, where their mere existence makes me whole. Being with them feels like a puzzle piece fit into its place. Their happiness is my happiness, their sadness is my sadness and anger. Vise versa. And their understanding of me is my gratitude. In simpler terms, a relationship that gives comfort, trust and sense of fulfilment to the body and soul. Soulmates are more spiritually engaging? Sorry, can't remember the word.....

When I first met my best friends, it just clicks out of nowhere and we are now besties who share everything. Even when our thoughts and values are different, arguments just made us closer.
And yes, my soulmates are my best friends. But not all my best friends are my soulmates. Do you get it?
Being separated due to work does make the heart grow fonder 😂 I can't wait to see them again. So this is my somehow lengthy definition of soulmates

@Yeti I think soulmates mean you're destined for each other no matter what. Through every rough patch, through every other person you've met, through every lifetime, you and your soulmate will find each other because you're made for each other.
@Yeti maybe, someone who understands u, is always there for u, and when it isnt, u feel like thinking off them is like your confort mind place, maybe some thing like that... Also, someone u love ( it doesn't haver to be lovers love but u know) and earn for and care very much
