4. i don't know if mc would've just jumped straight to his current power if the tower didn't lock his powers, but unless that's the case my point still stands. i feel like the tower granting training and rewards to the mc is the main reason he was able to achieve his current power
5. i've literally seen mc not doing anything as dozens of civilian farmers with family's die, and only stepping in when a little girl is about be killed, the author is clearly trying to potray him as a hero.
