that's kind of unfair considering that mc had to work hard for it. he even managed to defeat him, more knowledgeable and stuff, what the fu** where is the logic

@ziaaaa If I remember correctly, they wanted to put Shirone in a higher class but decided against it, because he had no previous knowledge of magic. Knowledge he's now learning (and skipping classes because of that). Canis (and Arin?) already know the basics of magic.
@Anelas uhm yeah, and shirone knows the basic of magic too to the point that they defeated them. i understand your point, but what i mean is, shirone defeated them, even if they had help from a demon. they can't calculate like shirone, they can't teleport like shirone, they can only teleport through the shapdows, it's not actually teleportation. they lack knowledge and calculations, they dont have the affinity for magic, they lack as a whole. they're just pampered because they're the archmage's disciple and a brother and sister of the old headmaster.
