Honestly, one of the comments last chapter said it best. Idols are human too, but looking from afar we only see what they show us, which is the whole point. Idols male and female alike have this "standard" that they are held to by the fandom, to the point that to break away from that image is sacrlige. Some celebrities in the west go through the same thing really. We put them on a pedestal but if we find out they're not as perfect as they seem in our fantasy we feel betrayed at that point. Imagine if someone from BTS was into some kinky stuff and it was made public? Sure, they'd have thier fans who would support them but the backlash would be overwhelming.
